ERROR DESCRIPTION:
Some TIFF images become distorted when the following environment
variables are used:
 FIWT_USEPIXEL_RENDERTIFF = TRUE
 FIWT_USEPIXEL_SCALETOGRAY = TRUE
It looks like the image is stretched and maybe twice the length
so the bottom data is missing. Customer has APARs IO13868 and
IO14253 installed, among others. The Pixel rendering engine is
not correctly processing TIFF images with the wrong height
value. As a result, half of the image's height is truncated.
LOCAL FIX:

PROBLEM SUMMARY: Some images appear distored when Pixel environ-
ment variables FIWT_USEPIXEL_SCALETOGRAY and FIWT_USEPIXEL_RENDE
RTIFF are set to TRUE. It looks like the data is stretched and
approximately twice the length so the bottom half of the image's
height is truncated.
PROBLEM CONCLUSION: FIWTAPI.DLL was changed in order to fix
this issue.

Copy the FIWTAPI.DLL into the \evn\bin directory, after backing
up the original.

Add new environment variable
FIWT_PIXELRENDERTIFF_SCALELENGTH = TRUE
to the workstation's system environment variables in order to
enable this fix.
