    RAIN SHOWER SIMULATOR v1.0 beta (21/February/2001) MS-DOS (freeware)

    ====================================================================

  This program simulates the beautiful machine Nintendo's Game & Watch
  "Rain Shower" made in 1983.
  To execute the game you have to write from DOS:

  Rshower <options>, where options are:
  -s, activates sound (activated by defect).
  -ns, disables the sound.
  -v, synchronizes the game with the sweeping of the monitor.
  -nv, so that there is not this synchrony (activated by defect).

  So that "Rain Shower" goes correctly I don't believe that they are nece-
  ssary very powerful computers (I suppose that it's enough a pentium 166).
  The game uses the resolution 800x600 with 256 colors. The sound card is
  detected automatically and the graphic mode also.
  If you activate the synchrony option with the screen, make sure the graphic
  mode has frequency of 60 Hz, because if not the surest thing is the speed
  of the game is not appropriate.

  "Rain Shower" is programmed totally in C with DJGPP using libraries
  ALLEGRO and SEAL audio.
  Although it seems to work good under Windows 9X/ME, it is thought for
  MS-DOS. The executable Rshower.exe should go accompanied by the file
  rshower.dat and ten rainXX.wav files.

  I don't become responsible for any kind of damage that this program can
  cause you, use it to your risk; -)
  By the way, I don't have anything to do with Nintendo, I program as hobby.

    Simulator Current state:
    ========================

  It's simulated all!
  At the moment sound card is necessary and sound should be activated.
  Maybe will be necessary some minor adjustment.

    Rain Shower Instructions:
    =========================

  You can find the original instructions (in English of course)
  scanned at the official web of this simulator:
  http://www.emuhq.com/nokrum/

  Anyway, some quick instructions go here:

  A boy has finished laundry on the ropes to dry and he is taking a rest.
  Suddenly it becomes cloudy and raindrops start falling. To prevent
  raindrops from striking the laundry, move the rope quickly to the right
  or left.
  GAME A is for beginners and average players. GAME B is for the pros
  because a pesky crow sometimes appears to move the rope.

  Keys:

  A normal game
  B hard game (more boxes and the elevators go quicker)
  With the CURSORS you control our hero.
  With the key CONTROL you can move the rope.
  F5 to get screen-shot (file rshower.pcx)
  TAB for not measuring the speed of the simulation.
  ESC to return to the real world.

    GRATEFULNESS:
