I have a friend who has a habit of getting old computers and
parts at Garage sales. I have told him that if it does not have
manual and disks it is more trouble the the cost savings is worth
but he still does it.
My friend just got a t1200 and would like to find a
harddrive; and systems disks for this unit. Also manuals if
anyone out there has one he will pay for photocopy of manual.

The Tandy 1200 is a pretty close copy of the original IBM PC ...
unfortunately that's about all I know about it ... maybe others
will have more information.

OK, this sounds quite similar to the IBM XT - GO PCHW and
download the PC/XT Upgrading FAQ - just search for all files by
Jared Ryan 75664,1234 and it'll be there. It contains lots of
useful information on upgrading just about every aspect of the
old IBM PC's and XT's. Probably you can apply most of it to the
Tandy 1200 (and other PC/XT-clones) as well.
