I have Tandy catalogs from 1981 to about 1989; there may be some
missing. You may have all of them. I also have TRS-80
Microcomputer News for the asking. There are also other catalog
items from Radio Shack/Tandy for the asking.

For anyone else: I have an old Tandy 2000 with a dead hard drive
but one OK floppy drive. It comes with a VM-1 monitor (green
monochrome), cables, and manuals. It's for the taking; maybe
someone could use it for parts. I just can't bring myself to
trash it at the dump.

Another request: I have a working TRS-80 Model 1 with 16K plus
32K expansion interface; all keys are working except one. All
cables are available; monitor; manuals; and a cassette recorder
if needed. Also have cassettes and programs. (No disks on this
one!!) Would love to donate this to a museum if there's one
without this neato computer! (Don't laugh--it was my first and
I've had over a dozen since. It paid for itself many times over
for online work !!)

Thanks a lot! How much for shipping the catalogs to NJ? I may
also take your semi-working Tandy 2000 if the shipping costs are
not too great. I'm sure somebody will snap up your vintage TRS-80
computer.

(My first computer was a TRS-80 Pocket Computer -- about the size
of a calculator, but you could hook up a printer and cassette
recorder, and program it in BASIC! I still have it!)

BTW -- Radio Shack now charges around $3.00 for its catalogs.
Bummer. Remember when they were free?

Kevin: You're on! Yes, I remember when the catalogs were
free. Usually I could weasel them from the store guys by being
coy. (I'm too old now to be coy--I'm a grandmother!!)

You can send me your address or phone me at 860-344-1880 and
leave a message (the machine is always on) and perhaps we will
devise a way to get the old 2000 to you too. You can fax me at
the same phone number also.

Thanks mucho. JAD

It thanks you for considering a new home for it.
