   1. IS YOUR SYSTEM ADEQUATE?


  
        Media Universe runs effortlessly on any system with a 500 MHz CPU and
        higher with more than 64 Mb of RAM. There are no other special requirements.
        It has been tested on three major Windows Systems:  Win XP, Win 2000, Win 98.

   2. HOW TO INSTALL MEDIA UNIVERSE



	Before you run Media Universe, be sure to prepare a folder(directory) like

        "C:\Media Universe"

	Unzip the whole package into that directory. When you run Media Universe for the
        first time, it will ask you to select its home directory. It is the directory you
        just created.


        Warning:   Don't place the home directory on the Desktop or on a CD, because Media universe
                   wouldn't recognize it.



         You can now refer to the Media Universe Help System for more information.



    3. WHAT IS THE LICENSE OF MEDIA UNIVERSE?



        Media Universe is completely free software, which means you can redistribute it and
        use it without any restrictions, unless you are in conflict with the copyright of the
        authors. Keep in mind that this software comes without any warranty and you use it on 
        your own risk!
