linrdp 2.0

linrdp is the Terminal Services client for linux.Use it you can connect to windows NT/2000/XP/2003 Terminal Servers. support remote desktop protocol (RDP) 5.1 at this version. linrdp need a gnome 2.0 to run the front GUI. if you run lindesk by command line. gnome 2.0 is not needed.local print supported at this version.When you connect to a windows xp or windows.net 2003. the sound was supported.

lindesk [options] server:port
server is the name of the Terminal Services server.

options:

-u:  user name
-d:  domain
-s:  start program
-c:  start directory
-p:  password
-n:  client hostname
-z0: disable sound
-z1: normal quaility sound
-z2: high quaility sound
-t:  color depth
-f:  full-screen mode
-g:  desktop width & height (WxH)
-k:  keyboard language layout(1034=Spanish,1031=Germany,1036=French) 
-k help: help keyboard language layout seting
-K:  disable grab keyboard
-o:  ="printer name;printer driver;local print command"

example:
lindesk -g800x600 -t16 -z2 -k1031 -o="printer;EPSON Stylus C41 Series;lpr -l -p" 192.168.0.1

Use this option to connect to a Terminal Services with sound and local printer(EPSON Stylus C41 Series) supported. the keyboard layout is Germandy and screen at 800X600 and color depth is 65K high color. 


Sound support
You should configure sound card work in you linux system first.
linrdp also need  a "sox" program to play the sound.
if you use a linux distributions like Redhat or Mandrake . sox include as a standard installation.
You can found sox at  http://sox.sourceforge.net.
If you sound did not work in linrdp. make sure sox run in your linux system.



local print support

You should configure a local linux printer first.
launcher linrdp by linrdp's front gui or command options
if use linrdp you should configure the local printer info in printer tab.
select the local printer name -> select the printer driver(if you can not found the printer driver in the list), input it by
manual,note the printer driver must be specified exactly including spaces and uppercase like the windows printer driver),set 
the local print command. normally is lpr -l -p


if you use lindesk set the option by -o.
like -o="printer;EPSON Stylus C41 Series;lpr -l -p"

then connect to you terminal servers.select seting ->printers and faxes -> select the printer which name is your linux's 
local printer name -> select advance tab -> select appropriate printer driver from the list ( if you can not found the 
windows printer driver from the list . select "new driver" to install the appropriate printer driver.

note:linrdp's evluation version only support 640*480 mode and will disconnect your session in 15 minutes.
