  TIP:

Copy "LINE-ADJ.EXE" to the "COMMAND" sub-directory/folder in "WINDOWS"
(95/98/etc.). If you have Windows 3.1 or only Dos, put it in the "DOS"
directory. Doing this has the effect of adding a new command/utility,
which you can launch from any location, including another drive.

  NOTE:

The original file is never changed. A new file is created.

  DOCUMENTS WITH LEADING SPACES:

If the document you want to adjust the length of lines contains leading
spaces in the selected (highlighted) parts, the leading spaces will be removed.
Also, there will be no two or more consecutive spaces (reduced to one) in the
selected parts.

  "LONG LINES" DOCUMENT:

LA ("Lines Adjuster") is also useful for a document that doesn't have any
CRs (carriage returns), which results in a very "long line/s". LA can
reformat the document to a specified line length, with each line ending in a
CR (plus LF).

   "LINES ADJUSTER" FILTER SYSTEM:

If a document file has non-text characters, those characters will be
replaced with a space/s.
