== README.TXT for QVRemote.exm Ver 0.9 ==

QVRemote is a program to remotely control a Casio digital
camera, the QV-10/QV-100, from the HP 100/200LX. This program
is a 200LX adaptation of QVplay, created by Ken-ichi Hayashi
and itojun on Unix platform.

Main features of this program are as follows:

o Transfers image data from the QV-10 and QV-100.
o Displays a specified image on the LCD screen of the QV-10 and
  QV-100.
o Shows the number of frames stored in the QV-10 and QV-100.
o Shows the number of frames to be stored (remaining capacity) in
  the QV-100.
o Deletes specified frames from the memory of the QV-10 and QV-
  100.
o Reorder the images stored in the QV-10 and QV-100.
o Release the shutter of the QV-10 and QV-100 (take picture).

The QV-10 was followed by the QV-10A, QV11 and others. The QV-
100 was followed by the QV-200, QV-300 and others. This
program should work with these models in the same family.

Fine mode image (640x480 pixels) of the QV-100 is also
supported.

If you find any points to be improved, please notify the author
at toshiki@j.email.ne.jp. The author is happy to correct it in
the next version, if possible.

Limitation on this version:

1. This software simulate the pushbuttons of the QV-10 with the
keyboard of the 200LX. However, [ZOOM] key on the QV-10
([EFFECT] on the QV-100) is not supported.

2. [SNAP] button function fails in some circumstances, mainly with
the QV-100. However, it is not clear in which circumstance this
failure occurs. If you have any findings, please let me know.

3. Storage capacity is not checked when image data are stored to
a file. A file with the same name is overwritten without any
   warnings. Precaution is needed.
