Congratulations on completing the Tape-it Lite Diagnostic.

Here is some critical information you will need to know:

1) What drive letter has been assigned to your tape drive

During installation, Tape-it Lite assigned the next available drive letter to your tape
device. If you do not have a CD-ROM and only have one hard disk, this will most likely
be "D:". When you open the File Manager, you will have a new tape device icon on the
File Manager drive bar. The drive letter associated with this icon is the permanent
drive letter for your tape drive.

2) Erase your tapes before using them with Tape-it Lite

In order to use a tape cartridge with Tape-it Lite, you must first select the "Erase Tape..."
menu item and erase your tape.

3) Use the File Manager "Copy Directly to Tape..." menu item to immediately copy files to tape

If you would like to immediately copy files to tape, select the directories or files
that you wish to copy using the File Manager, and then choose the "Copy Directly to Tape..."
menu item.

4) Upgrading to the complete version of Tape-it

For complete Backup and drag and drop features, upgrade to Tape-it. See the "Upgrading
to Tape-it from Lite..." menu item in the File Manager Tape menu for more information.
