 TBS-2000 / Tropez32 EEPROM UPDATE
ͼ

This procedure will re-program the EEPROM on the TBS-2000 card with the
latest, shipping information. If you are not having problems with the
TBS-2000, DO NOT run this program. The update program should only be
run if you are having difficulties in a Plug-n-Play system or your
installation disks were labeled as version 1.0-1.3. This hardware update
is designed to work with the version 1.5 installation. (Customers with
version 1.4 need only to download the new 1.5 software.)

Reprogramming the EEPROM will mainly address problems with a PnP Bios or
problems in Windows 95. Normal lock-ups in Windows 3.1 or 3.11 and DOS are
more likely due to resource conflicts and not an invalid EEPROM. If this is
the case, you can use the 'Configure' option in the Windows 3.1/DOS
installation program to find new settings for the card.

Running the Update Program
--------------------------

1. The update can be run from either a floppy disk or the hard drive.
2. If running from the hard drive, unzip and copy all files to a new
    directory (ie. TBS)
3. Go to your new directory and type UPDATE.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the card.
