1.0 Introduction

This self-extracting file contains the version 3.03 release of a software
MPEG Player designed for use with the following ATI Products;

	VIDEO XPRESSION
	VIDEO XPRESSION+
	3D XPRESSION
	3D XPRESSION+
	3D XPRESSION+ PC2TV
	3D PRO TURBO PC2TV
All other ATI products based on the 3D RAGE, 3D RAGE II, VT and
	CT mach64 graphics processors.

If your ATI product came pre-installed in a complete system, you may
already have a special driver version installed (eg. IBM, AST, Gateway,
NEC, Sony). ATI graphic processors are implimented on many 3rd party
products. You should contact your system integrator for drivers certified
for use with your system, especially if the ATI chip is incorporated on
the mainboard or motherboard.

This software should function correctly with ATI products based on
mach64 GX chips. ATI does not recommend installing this software unless
you are experiencing a problem with your current ATI Player as it has not
completed certification for use with mach64 GX products. Version 2.2X of
the mach64 Windows 95 Display Driver and ATI Player will continue to be
available for use with mach64 GX products.

Prior to installing the ATI Player,

-Windows 95 MUST BE CONFIGURED for the ATI v3.03 Windows 95 Display
     Driver.

-Windows 95 MUST have DirectDraw installed. If you do not have
DirectDraw installed it is included with this installation. Select
the "DirectX Setup" icon to install DirectX before installing the ATI
     Player.

NOTE: This is not a complete installation of DirectX and will install
only the under-lying support necessary to use the ATI Player. If you
need the complete runtime installation download the current DirectX
     redist directory from http://www.microsoft.com

The current version of DirectX (6 MB, self-extracting file) can be
     found at http://www.microsoft.com/mediadev/download/isdk.htm
Last tried on December 19, 1996
