                     Dynamite 128/Video Driver Library

Downloading instructions:
All files are available from our main FTP site (ftp.hercules.com). If that
site is busy or not responding, try our alternate site (ftp.netcom.com),
but that connection tends to be slower.

Windows 95

[Image] Windows 95 Drivers and Utilities, Ver. 1.23 (28 Apr 97; 1,294,160

This self extracting archive contains release 1.23 of the Windows 95
software for the Dynamite 128/Video. If you are upgrading from a previous
release, please reset your video driver to the Standard Display Adapter
(VGA) and reboot before installing this new driver. Extract this file to a
temporary directory on your hard drive. Run SETUP.EXE from your Windows 95
desktop to install. Read the README.TXT file for more information about
this software release. PLEASE NOTE: This driver is compatible with
DirectX3, and we recommend you download (BELOW) and run DIRECTXV.EXE --
which will install DirectX3 -- before you install this driver software.
This will give you the easiest installation and the best performance
possible.

[Image]  DirectX & DirectVideo, Release 3 (24 Jan 97; 2,097,200 bytes):
directxv.exe
This is Microsoft's installation package that will install DirectX and
DirectVideo, version 3, for your Windows 95 Operating System. IF YOU
PREVIOUSLY HAVE INSTALLED DIRECTX3a ON YOUR SYSTEM, THEN YOU DO NOT NEED
THIS FILE. Download this file to a temporary directory on your hard drive,
then run Directxv.exe from your Windows 95 desktop to install. We recommend
the following procedure: 1. Close all applications and windows before
installing. 2. Reset your display driver to Standard Display Adapter (VGA)
and reboot. 3. Install Directxv.exe, following the on-screen instructions.
You will be prompted to replace your video drivers. Go ahead and do this
because you are in VGA mode and it will update your VGA drivers only. 4.
Install the newest Hercules Power Drive drivers and reboot again. This will
insure the easiest and cleanest installation possible. Enjoy!

Windows 3.1 and MS-DOS

Contains drivers for Windows 3.1x. Also requires dv100i.exe, above.

Windows NT

This self-extracting archive contains release 1.00 of the Windows NT 3.5x
display driver for the Dynamite 128/Video. Extract this file to a diskette
then read the README.TXT file for installation instructions for this
software release. If you extract to a temporary directory on your hard
drive, be sure to place the #ET6000.35 disk tag file in the ROOT directory
before installing.

This archive file contains version 1.01 of the display drivers for the
Windows NT 4.0 operating system. These display drivers are for use with
the Dynamite 128/Video only. These drivers are the same as the drivers
that shipped with Windows NT 4.0, but support for the 4MB modes has been
added. Extract this file to a temporary directory on your hard drive, then
install the drivers using the "Have Disk" option from Windows NT 4.0's
Display Properties.

OS/2 Warp

This self extracting archive contains release 1.20 of the OS/2 Warp 3.0
and 4.0 software for the Dynamite 128/Video. Extract this file to a
temporary directory on your hard disk. Read the README.TXT file for
instructions on creating the installation diskette.
This driver now works with OS/2 4.0 (MERLIN).
