sylv:

Syntax:	sylv ( A , B , C )
	sylv ( A , C )

Description:

Sylv solves the Sylvester matrix equation.

		A*X + X*B = -C

	or

		A*X + X*A' = -C (Lyapunov equation)

A and B must both be upper quasi-triangular (if real), or
	triangular (if complex).

If A and or B are not upper quasi-triangular/triangular, then
it is usually easier to use lyap. Lyap performs a Schur
decomposition on A and B before using sylv.

Sylv uses the LAPACK functions DTRSYL, or ZTRSYL.
