                                   EXIT
                                   ====

This option is used to exit BowlStat and optionally, save any
changes to the Team and/or bowler databases currently in memory.

Selected the desired menu item by moving the highlight via the +/-
or cursor arrow keys and press the "RETURN" or "ENTER" key.

                             1) Main Menu
                             2) Save & Resume
                             3) Resume
                             4) Save & Exit
                             5) Shell to DOS
                             6) Exit
                            ͼ

The six EXIT MENU items are:

   1) Main Menu - Return to the Main Menu.

   2) Save & Resume - Save the current Bowler/ Team databases to disk
                         and restart BowlStat.

   3) Resume - Restart BowlStat. Any changes to the Team and/or
                         Bowler databases will be lost.

   4) Save & Exit - Save the current Team and Bowler databases to disk
                         and exit to DOS.

   5) Shell to DOS - Run a copy of COMMAND.COM. BowlStat will remain
in memory with the current team and bowler
databases intact. To return to BowlStat, type
"EXIT" and press the 'Return' or 'Enter' key at
the DOS Prompt. Remember to return to the
directory containing the BowlStat files before
leaving the COMMAND.COM shell (assuming the
original path for BowlStat has been changed).

   6) Exit - Exit to DOS. Any changes made to the Team and/or
                         Bowler databases will be lost.

Before BowlStat saves the current Team and Bowler databases held in
memory, the data that is on the disk is saved in "backup" files for
recovery purposes. The original team database, <filename>.LDA is renamed
to <filename>.LOL and the bowler database, <filename>.BDA is renamed to
<filename>.BOL. Should recovery of the old data be required, the DOS
commands DELETE and RENAME can be used to change the filename extensions
back to .LDA and .BDA, the extensions BowlStat assumes when loading
 database information.

 NOTES - Options 3 & 6 require a 'Y' confirmation. Be aware that once
BowlStat is restarted or exits to DOS, any changes made to the
Team and/or Bowler databases currently in memory are LOST and
           not recoverable.

        - If a league database is loaded with the /F: command line switch,
"Resume" is selected from the Exit Menu and 'Enter' or 'Return'
is pressed in response to the "League Name or 'Enter':" prompt,
BowlStat will reload the league database specified by the /F:
          command line switch.
